You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) is Professor of Applied Economics (Quantitative Methods) in the University of Valencia (Spain). Dr. Mtz. de Lejarza holds a Ph D. in Economics and Master in Systems Science of University of Valencia. He is member of the Asociación Española de Ciencia Regional (AECR),Regional Science Association (RSA), Sociedad Española de Sistemas Generales (SESGE), Sociedad de Lógica, Metodología y Filosofía de la Ciencia en España(Solofici), Business System Laboratory (BSLab) and others national and international scientific associations. He also was Vice-President and President of SESGE. His teaching experience includes lecturing in Economical Statistics, Economics, System Theory, Economic Data Analysis and Computing. He has being involved in several government and private supported researching projects. Remarkable projects: “Computer Simulation System for Unemployment Control” (supported by Valencian Regional Government),“Chaos Theory in Natural and Social Systems” (supported by Education and Science Department of Spanish Government),“Bayesian Confirmation Theory, Reasoning and Probability in Philosophy of Science” (Education and Science Department of Spanish Government), and others in areas of Systems Science and Information Technologies applied to Learning and Superior Education. He has written some textbooks and learning materials on Economic Statistics, such as Hipestat and Ceaces ( www.uv.es/ceaces) and monographic studies about researching topics, such as co-authoring “Control del Desempleo por Simulacion”(with A. Caselles et.al.,1999) or writing a chapter on Neural Networks in Forecasting Bankruptcy in “Tecnologias Inteligentes para la Gestion Empresarial” (Edited by prof. E. Bonson, Editorial Ra-Ma, 2000). Academic publications in scientific journals include papers in Teorema , Estudios de Economia Aplicada, Revista de Estudios Regionales, Revista de Estudios Autonomicos, International Journal of General Philosophy of Science, Revista Internacional de Sistemas, Rivista Micro-empresa and so on.
