Francesco Polese is professor of Business Management, founder and Director of Inderdept. Centre Simas (Innovation Systems and Health Management) at Salerno University. Formerly he was director of MadiLab and President of CUDH (University Centre of Disabilities) at Cassino University. He has been visiting professor at Stockholm University (SWE) and Universidad Torcuato de Tella (AG), and lecturer at Exteter University (UK) and Midsweden University (SWE). He is co-chair, with Evert Gummesson and Cristina Mele, of the Naples Forum on Service, an event gathering, every two years since 2009, scholars and researchers from the international service community around the topics Service-Dominant logic, Network and Systems Theories and Service Science (www.naplesforumonservice.it). His areas of interests cover systems theories, and specifically the Viable Systems Approach, service, networks and healthcare management. Author of several books and numerous contributes in international journals. Member of the Editorial Board of Service Science and Journal of Service Theory and Practice and guest editor of Special Issues of numerous international journals such as European Management Journal, Journal of Service Management, Journal of Service Theory and Practice, Service Science, International Journal of Quality and Service Sciences.
